CONTEXT
Define the intent, audience, medium and Catholic references relevant to the task.
DEFCORE / DIGITAL CULTURE
Catholic context and creative direction for AI-assisted creation.
A context and guidance kit for digital work rooted in Catholic tradition, with instructions and review criteria for the AI tool you already use.
See the methodTHE GAP
DEFCORE turns user intent and relevant Catholic references into a portable kit: context, parameters, references, a prompt and review criteria. You apply the kit in the AI tool you already use and retain creative direction. The aim is a more intentional process, closer to your purpose and with less rework.
THE IDEA
Catholic art and architecture offer ways to direct attention through light, space, proportion, image and symbol.
Those choices can inform digital work, but they must be understood in context—not copied as decoration.
The first test is concrete: can this guidance help someone create a short based on a biblical passage, preserve its meaning and spot inappropriate details before publication?
The goal is not to imitate a historical style or paste religious motifs onto a template. It is to make choices that serve the message, audience and purpose.
FROM TRADITION TO TASK
THE METHOD
Define the intent, audience, medium and Catholic references relevant to the task.
Turn relevant principles and conventions into concrete visual choices, parameters and constraints.
Get portable instructions and a workflow for the tool you already use.
Examine the overall composition and semantic details that may contradict the intent or context.
FOR PEOPLE WHO NEED TO CREATE
You have an idea and access to an AI tool. You may not know every relevant visual convention or be able to anticipate each detail that could compromise the meaning of the piece.
The kit organizes biblical and Catholic context, relevant visual choices, practical instructions and review criteria. You keep control of the art direction and create in the tool you choose. The aim is to help you reach a result that better reflects your intent, with fewer attempts and corrections.
THE KIT
WORKS ACROSS AI TOOLS
The kit is designed to be used across AI tools. Application may require adjustments, and results can vary from one model to another.
THE COMMONS
The long-term intention is to keep useful principles and selected resources accessible, supported by paid products if they prove valuable.
The commercial model and the boundaries of the commons are not defined yet. No catalogue, price or paid feature is being promised at this stage.
First, prove the product helps. Then define what can sustain the commons.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
It is a creative guidance system that turns user intent and relevant Catholic references into context, parameters, instructions and review criteria for use with AI tools.
Not in the current MVP. The first version prepares an exportable Context Kit in Markdown, with context, a main prompt and a checklist. You apply the kit in the AI tool you choose.
It distinguishes intent, context, interpretation and aesthetic choices; identifies relevant references and sensitive points; and proposes task-specific checks. This helps reduce risk, but does not replace human review.
No. The kit guides fidelity to the content and clarifies relevant constraints while you retain control of style, palette, composition, rhythm and visual language.
No. The kit guides the AI tool using relevant Catholic context and principles. You decide how and in what direction to create; human review remains important.
The approach is to organize references to official Catholic Church documents—such as homilies, encyclicals, council documents and compendia—and select the context relevant to each intent and task.
The comparison considers passage fidelity, perceived quality, rework and creative control, using the Context Kit and free-form instructions.

THE NEXT CHAPTER
The MVP starts with one concrete task: guiding the creation of a short video based on a biblical passage. The pilot will compare the kit with free-form instructions and assess fidelity, perceived quality, rework and creative control.
